Mr. Silvera Honored by Brother to Brother

On June 14, 2025, Brother-to-Brother awarded
Edgemont's Physical Education teacher,
Gerald Silvera, with the Lonnie Brandon Community Service Award! Congratulations to Mr. Silvera!!
Mr. Silvera recently retired from teaching after 33 years as Edgemont's PE teacher. Though officially retired, he is by no means slowing down and will continue coaching, spending time with his family, and being involved in the Montclair community.
He will be missed by staff, students, and the entire Edgemont Community. Enjoy your retirement Mr. Silvera!
