October 2-6, 2023 was the Week of Respect in New Jersey.
Edgemont students and staff recognized the Week of Respect with Restorative Justice Circles and Social/Emotional Learning lessons along with daily themes that encouraged everyone to explore the concept of respect and what it means for all of us.
Monday-Stomp Out Bullying! Wear blue to pledge to support the National Initiative to "stomp out bullying."
Tuesday-We are a Team! Wear your favorite sports jersey to team up against bullying.
Wednesday-Let's BEE Respectful Peacemakers! Wear black and yellow to recognize our new school-wide behavioral expectations.
Thursday-Respect is Classy! Wear your best outfit or the one that makes you feel awesome to show that respect is classy.
Friday-Celebrate our differences! Wear mismatched clothing to show how important it is to respect our differences.
